It combats the negative effects of classroom noise by increasing the teachers voice relative to background noise. The teacher's voice is picked up by a small microphone. Via pocket transmitter, this signal is transmitted to a compact receiver/amplifier combination, then projected throughout the classroom with placed loud speakers. The EMP 2015 can feed up to eight loudspeakers which create a uniform soundfield within the room. In addition, a team teaching (second transmitter and mic) can be paired to the base receiving amp and speakers for a unified classroom system.
